Luxury home developer William Homes recently began construction for 24 Centre, a new small-lot residential community in San Pedro. The developer, based in Santa Clarita, has built hundreds of residences over the past decade in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo at prices ranging between $159,000 to $1,000,000.

The project, located on an unoccupied 33,000-square-foot parcel on 8th Street and Centre Street, will bring 24 single-family small-lot homes to the neighborhood. The new small lot subdivision, which has been dubbed 24 on Centre, will feature a parking garage and a rooftop deck amenities.

The firm that’s been tapped to design the development is KTGY Architecture + Planning, which is based in Mar Vista. According to Urbanize, renderings depict a set of modern multi-colored three-story residences with front-facing translucent balconies. The collection of homes are landscaped with planting trees and shrubs along a central driveway.
