Plans, originally reported by The Next Miami call for 270 hotel rooms, almost 15,000 square feet of office space, and over 700 square feet of retail space. The developer of the project, on the corner of Northeast 15th Street and North Bayshore Drive, is Miami-based Mandala Holdings. The architect is Miami-based Allan Shulman.

The Miami Urban Design Review Board was expected to review plans on Oct. 6. Resorts World Miami is the name of a 13.9-acre development proposed by the Malaysian-based Genting Group at the former Miami Herald site that would contain three towers – two residential and one hotel.
