A Gelato Lover's Guide to Las Vegas
We’re spoiled in Las Vegas with so many great gelato options, many of which are all-natural, homemade, and true to their Italian roots. While all of these shops feature traditional flavors we know and love, it’s possible to try unique delicacies, like Gelato Spaghetti or rose-shaped gelato cones, in almost any corner of the Valley. You don’t have to go to The Strip to find great gelato: These shops are all over the city.
Gelato di Milano - Spring Valley
Owned and operated by a family from Milan, Italy, Gelato di Milano serves all-natural, handcrafted gelato made in-store; flavors include Tiramisu, cinnamon, hazelnut, lemon, and pistachio. Newly opened in December, Gelato di Milano brings a fresh, modern atmosphere to the Spring Valley neighborhood. If you’re a coffee lover, try the Affogato.
BellaLinda Gelateria - Lake Las Vegas
What makes BellaLinda Gelateria special is not only its lakefront view near MonteLago Village Resort but also its fresh, authentic gelato with a range of flavors from the more conventional lemon to rum raisin and fig. Although BellaLinda is inside the Lake Las Vegas resort area in Henderson, its location encourages customers to make an afternoon out of the experience by sitting in the grass or taking a walk around the waterfront. BellaLinda also serves crepes and coffee.
Gelatology - Enterprise
Gelatology in Enterprise serves traditional favorites like Cookies ’n Cream and Cheesecake, but they also recently introduced their exclusive line of fruit gelatos which are free of flavor enhancers, artificial colorizers, and chemical ingredients. Their most unique menu item is Gelato Spaghetti—gelato base topped with homemade strawberry sauce and shaved white chocolate.
Amorino Gelato - Downtown
Located Downtown at both The LINQ and Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, Amorino Gelato is famous for its flower-shaped cone gelato; constructed petal by gelato petal, the end result resembles a rose and features a macaroon in the center. Other house favorites include their sorbet drink (made from a fruit sorbet of your choice) and affogato with all-natural vanilla gelato.
Cafe Gelato - The Strip
Housed in the Bellagio on The Strip, Cafe Gelato enjoys close proximity to both the fine art gallery and a patio overlooking the pool. While the cafe also serves pastries, salads, and sandwiches, Cafe Gelato’s real specialty is the gelato with flavors like creamy mint chip and strawberry. Options include individual scoops, banana splits, shakes, and affogato.
Waffelato - Downtown
Located in Downtown Container Park, Waffelato is famous around town for its homemade chocolate and vanilla waffle cones made in store. They’re different from traditional waffle cones because they’re served hot. In addition to delightful gelato flavors, such as bubblegum, caramel, and mango, the atmosphere is fun because of the whimsical illustrations lining the walls.
Gelato Bar - Paradise
Gelato Bar in Paradise may serve build-your-own crepes along with coffee, waffles, and bubble tea, but the real focus is on the gelato. Popular flavors include marshmallow, green tea, cheesecake, salted caramel, and green apple. Whether in a cone or a cup, each gelato comes with a circle of crispy biscotti.
Italcream - Spring Valley
Dubbed “the perfect taste of Italy”, Italcream was the first gelateria in the state of Nevada back in 1980, when Naples-born Giovanni Parente founded the company. Today, Italcream specializes in both gelato and sorbet. Their gelato gallery hosts an impressive array of flavors, including limoncello, caramel sea salt, macchiato, matcha green tea, and raspberry truffle.
