This year’s Chicago Restaurant Week takes place from Jan. 26 to Feb. 8, and 370 restaurants will be participating in this mouthwatering annual event.

Every year Choose Chicago, Chicago’s official tourism arm, breaks down the participating restaurants by type of meal (brunch, lunch, or dinner) and by cuisine (African to Vietnamese). Here are the eight Chicago neighborhoods with the biggest number of participating restaurants.

Bucktown/Wicker Park

Number of participating restaurants: 16

Bucktown/Wicker Park’s Restaurant Week options are peppered with a fair amount of variety, but the options here lean more toward the lunch and dinner crowd, rather than brunch goers. That being said you can dine on cuisine from across the world. Get Japanese grilled and fried small plates at the chic Izakaya Mita. Enjoy the tastes of Europe at French restaurant Cafe Robey or Italian at Nando Milano Trattoria. These neighborhoods also have a good amount of restaurants with American cuisine. Try Presidio for an upscale cocktail lounge vibe, or go for a more casual atmosphere at Chop Shop.

Gold Coast

Number of participating restaurants: 23

For anyone in the mood for a good steak, the Gold Coast is going to be your go-to spot during Restaurant Week. Of the neighborhood’s 23 participating restaurants, six are steakhouses — including the legendary Morton’s The Steakhouse. The other restaurants are largely a mix of Italian, French, and American, although you can get Mediterranean dishes at Fig & Olive or Vietnamese cuisine at Le Colonial. The Gold Coast restaurants get bonus points for having plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Lakeview

Number of participating restaurants: 16

Lakeview has plenty of options for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Indulge in a boozy brunch at Hutch Bistro. If you want to come back for seconds, the bistro also offers dinner. Lakeview’s other restaurant options are a delightful blend of Mexican and Italian. Discover the tequila bar at El Mariachi Restaurant, or go for casual Italian at Frasca Pizzeria + Wine Bar. Seafood lovers will be clamoring for a menu from Lakeview’s Lowcountry.

Lincoln Park

Number of participating restaurants: 25

Indecisive diners might want to make reservations at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! This Spanish tapas restaurant specializes in small dishes. Order a bunch of small plates to share with the whole table. For diners who want something a little more intimate, check out Geja’s Café, a restaurant that prides itself on being “Chicago’s most romantic fondue restaurant.” The rest of the Lincoln Park options are a savory and eclectic blend of pizza joints, American contemporary restaurants, Italian spots, Latin food, and sushi restaurants.

The Loop

Number of participating restaurants: 39

It is no surprise the Chicago’s central downtown area would be high on the list. If you are looking for a hearty meal, grab a table at The Berghoff for traditional German dishes and plenty of belly-warming beer. If the view means as much to you as your meal, don’t miss out on the ROOF on the Wit. This covered rooftop hotel bar and restaurant serve up plenty of libations and a menu of Western Mediterranean food. Rest assured the Loop has no shortage of steakhouses, Italian restaurants, and spots for classic American dishes.

River North

Number of participating restaurants: 84

River North takes the cake with almost a fourth of all of the participating restaurants. You can’t beat this neighborhood for variety. Get a selection of Brazilian food brought right to your table by a chef at ZED451. Savor Asian fusion dishes at Sunda. Go with a gastropub experience at SideDoor. With so many options to choose from, vegetarians and gluten-free eaters are bound to find something to please the palate too.

Streeterville

Number of participating restaurants: 17

This Near North Side neighborhood does not disappoint when it comes to inventive flavors. Streeterville is also home to The Indian Garden, which covers a wide range of flavors from India. Catch some live jazz with the catch of the day at Eddie V’s Prime Seafood. Other Restaurant Week options in the neighborhood include steakhouses, Italian restaurants, gastropubs, and classic American restaurants.

West Loop

Number of participating restaurants: 37

The West Loop has enough options to please any epicure. Delight in the menu of RM Champagne Lounge, an upscale French restaurant. Dive into Latin fusion at the brightly painted and decorated Carnivale. Finally, for anyone who just wants to use Restaurant Week as an excuse to get a great burger, find Kuma’s Corner in the West Loop’s Fulton Market area. While not the original location, anyone in search of the city’s best burger will have a serious contender on their hands at this spot.
