Another Hotel Planned for Glade Parks Development in Growing Euless
The Glade Parks development along Texas 121 in Euless continues to expand. According to a recent story in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, developer and Euless resident Amish Patel recently told City Council he wants to build a LaQuinta del Sol hotel in Glade Parks.
The hotel is planned to have four stories and 85 rooms. It will be located along the east side of Texas Highway 121, just north of Mid-Cities Boulevard and south of Vineyard Village Shopping Center.
The LaQuinta hotel joins the upscale Marriott Aloft hotel at Glade Parks, which is already under construction. The lifestyle area and public plaza at Glade Parks are located on the west side of Texas 121 between Cheek-Sparger and Glade roads.
Glade Parks is the site of several retail and restaurant establishments, including Belk department store, Dave & Buster’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the luxury Cinepolis movie theater. It will also feature urban lofts and single-family homes.
Patel expects the LaQuinta del Sol hotel in Euless to be as successful as a similar LaQuinta hotel that opened in Grand Prairie in November 2016. The Grand Prairie location has already exceeded revenue projections, Patel reportedly said to the City Council. It will have features designed to appeal to millennials, including a hip look, color scheme, and amenities like a lobby intended to encourage socializing.
Euless is a growing location where residents are drawn to a quality school district and close proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
“We are blessed; we have so much going on. People have discovered Euless all of the sudden,” Mayor Linda Martin said in the Star-Telegram. “They know this is the place to be.”
