Award-Winning Luxury Builder Brings 'Wow' Factor to Frisco Custom Homes
Phillip Carter is passionate about crafting custom luxury homes into works of art, and his inventiveness, imagination, high style, and quick turnaround have found a home in Frisco and earned him awards, according to Candy’s Dirt.
“My intention is, wherever you go in one of our houses, you think — Wow,” Carter, who is president of Christian Custom Homes, told Candy’s Dirt. “We want to create an oasis and impress the hardest to impress people.”

Three of Carter’s wow factors just won his firm Best New Build over $2 Million, Best Kitchen, and Best Closet in the 2017 Dallas Builder’s Association ARC Awards. But those factors are just the tip of the iceberg.
“I saw a demand that was not being met in a Frisco custom luxury spec home,” Carter added. “That blend of California indoor-outdoor living with a modern Texas Hill Country design was not being built here.”
Carter’s latest luxury spec venture in Frisco is a 9,886-square-foot home in the Hills of Kingswood neighborhood that sits atop a hill on a three-tiered terraced lot. Floor-to-ceiling glass along the back of the house fuses indoor space with the outdoor living area, kitchen, bi-level pools, waterfall, and putting green. And an outdoor air conditioning system provides comfort for gatherings and events during the warmest months.

In addition to a contemporary mix of rustic appeal and clean lines, the five-bedroom five-bath home includes a soundproof second-floor basketball court and multiple ground floor living areas.
Despite the size and scope of Carter’s luxury Frisco estates, turnaround — which is about six months — also ranks high on his wow factor list.
