Make no mistake: The Strip in Las Vegas is a prime destination for spa treatments, and almost every property has an on-site spa. But what if you’re a local who doesn’t want to battle crowds of tourists? Spas on The Strip always get the attention, yet off-Strip offerings can be just as luxurious. Luckily, there are several neighborhoods in both Las Vegas and Henderson that offer spa services, many of which cater to locals who just want to relax away from The Strip.

Whether you’re looking for a massage, facial, or even a hair treatment, these spas have everything a local could want—and several of them even have specials for locals. Here are several neighborhoods to check out the next time you want to have a spa day and avoid tourists.

Because this neighborhood is such a destination for coffee shops, shopping, and parks, it comes as no surprise that plenty of locals deem Green Valley Ranch an ideal neighborhood to live in. It’s just a short drive away from The Strip (and even offers a prime view of the hotels), yet the neighborhood has its own suburban vibe without feeling stuffy. The neighborhood is also a great place to take a staycation because Green Valley Ranch Resort and Casino has its own spa, which has been nominated for Best of Las Vegas 2018. Locals also love its locals’ special and regular promotions on services like nails, body treatments, and waxing.

Nearby, mega-gym Lifetime Fitness offers spa services at LifeSpa, where locals can choose from three different massages for 30, 60, or 90 minutes at a time. Kaya Beauty offers facials, makeup, and nails, but the spa is really known for its hair services, which include balayage.

While Macdonald Ranch is a fairly small area in Henderson, the median sale price of a home is in the low $300s. Also, the neighborhood is an enclave of its own with no shortage of spas in an area. Anime Salon & Spa’s hair services will appeal to locals because they offer Brazilian blowouts, extensions, and color corrections as free consult packages along with their other services, which include nails, body treatments, facials, and even lash extensions. Among Anime’s distinct service add-ons is ear candling, which melts away earwax. Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a hangover cure, facial, or anti-aging treatment, Infuze Wellness Center offers these services, which stand out from more traditional spa offerings.

Summerlin

Summerlin is one of the best neighborhoods to call home for those who enjoy convenient access to shopping, dining, casinos, and spas. The Spa at Lakeside offers body treatments, massages, facials, and waxing services, but they also run regular specials and spa packages that bundle multiple service offerings into one deal. The spa also offers the Couple Celebration package that includes 80 minutes of a massage and foot awakening treatment.

Meanwhile, Salt Room LV near Summerlin Library offers halotherapy, a drug-free therapy in a fresh-air salt cave, ideal for those struggling with respiratory problems, eczema, and allergies. The treatment extends more than a few benefits even for people who simply wish to breathe clearly and relax in an ambient environment. First-time clients receive two salt therapy sessions for the price of one.

At The Rampart, also known as J.W. Marriott, Spa Aquae has both indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. Unique service offerings include the Aquae Signature Sampler Massage that lets you choose from modalities like deep tissue, Swedish, desert stone, and reflexology techniques starting at $175. The spa also offers prenatal massages to help reduce discomfort for expecting mothers, and add-ons include eucalyptus foot scrub, collagen eye masks, and hot stones.
