A new home community, Castella, will open for sale in Norwalk on August 12. Developed by Brandywine Homes, the community features 17 units for sale, plus four model units. The new neighborhood is located at 11042 Excelsior Drive, near the Interstate 605 freeway.

Plan 1R: This plan features two bedrooms, two bathrooms (which includes the master suite), and approximately 1,108 square feet. It also features a sizeable great room, a two-car garage and a balcony.

Plan 2BR: A two-story house with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths (including master suite). The 1,321 square foot space features an open area upon entry with adjoining living room, dining room, and kitchen. There is also a two-car garage.

Plan 3R: This plan is also a two-story home with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths (including master), but the main differentiator is square footage — 1,479 here. The extra space comes from the large great room upon entry. A two-car garage is featured here as well. 

Plan 4R: Similar to previous plans — three bedrooms with two-and-a-half bathrooms, but also includes a slightly larger floor plan at 1,491 square feet. The living room and dining room are situated on either side of the entry, open to the kitchen as well. Like the other units, there’s a two-car garage.

According to the Castella site, sale prices will start in the low $400,000 range. All kitchens come pre-furnished with stainless steel Whirlpool appliances. Each unit is outfitted with various energy efficient features, walk-in closets in the master suite, and security systems. Personalization options are also available.
