Parks and Walking Trails
A huge part of living sustainably is spending less time in the car and more time on foot. With miles of walking trails that crisscross the community, residents have the opportunity to go out for evening walks, bike to a friend’s house, and go for runs with their dog. Already a very bicycle-friendly and eco-conscious city, Davis makes a lot of sense as a place to promote walking and biking.

Perfect for picnics on a warm day, The Cannery’s parks are a popular gathering spot for families and neighbors. The dog parks are also a frequent destination for community pet owners.
