For the second-straight year, the Golden State Warriors found themselves up 3-1 in the NBA Finals over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. This time, however, they took care of business and won the championship in Game 5 on Monday night. The franchise, led by Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson, is bringing their second NBA Championship in three years back to Oakland.

Now it’s time to celebrate.

The Warriors will hold a victory parade on Thursday, June 15 that will weave its way through Downtown Oakland. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., festivities start on Broadway at 11th Street near Chinatown. From there the parade turns right on Grand Avenue through Uptown before turning right again on Harrison. After that the route heads south, going left on 19th Street and right on Lakeside Drive, eventually ending at Oak Street and Second Avenue by the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center. 

Afterward, a rally will kick off at 12:15 p.m. at the south end of Lake Merritt between East 12th and Oak Street. Early rising fans can start lining up there as early as 5 a.m. if they want.

Per Curbed SF, Oakland expects over a million people to attend the festivities, so public transportation to and from the event is encouraged. And if you get hungry afterward, why not celebrate the success of Steph Curry’s Bay Area basketball team by trying some of the Bay Area’s best curry?
