Google has been buying out properties near Diridon Station in Downtown San Jose to create a transit village that would double the tech giant’s presence in Silicon Valley. Now, Google’s development partner has scooped up another property to add to the massive project.

TC Agoge Associates, an affiliate controlled by Google’s development partner Trammell Crow, has bought a vacant lot for approximately $1.1 million. The lot is located at 92 S. Montgomery St., across the street from Diridon Station.

As the Mercury News reports, even more deals are on the table to sell various properties to Google and Trammell Crow. The tech conglomerate plans to develop six to eight million square feet of new office space in Downtown San Jose. Once completed, the transit village could employ between 15,000 and 20,000 Google workers.

With its proximity to Diridon Station, employees would have easy connections to the rest of Silicon Valley, and even the Central Valley, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
