Homebuilder Carves a Deeper Niche in Dallas-Fort Worth Market With 3 New Home Communities
Between premiering its Founders Collection at Stonegate in Irving and extending their new luxury home line to Montgomery Farm in Allen, Darling Homes is currently the darling of the Taylor Morrison Homes Corporation brand in Dallas-Fort Worth. Now, the Arizona-based company is significantly upping its own North Texas footprint by showcasing its broad homebuilding niche at Somerset Parkin Frisco, Sweetwater at Light Farms in Celina, and Caraway in Haslet. Prices range from $350,000 to the $600,000s.
"We're attracted to the market because of the strength we've seen in terms of job growth as well as the types of jobs," Dennis Ouellette, vice president of operations for Taylor Morrison Dallas, told the Dallas Morning News. "While it's a great market, there is a lot of competition, and buyers have a lot of choices."
Taylor Morrison is no stranger to Dallas-Fort Worth. Though starter homes were its initial entry in the market, the builder has since shifted its regional focus to lifestyle-rich master-planned communities, which offer a long list of appealing amenities for families and active 55+ buyers alike. The brand has already built developments at Hamilton Park in Carrollton, Waterford Point at The Tribute in The Colony, and Willowcreek at Auburn Hills in McKinney. The three additional projects underway will double Taylor Morrison’s presence in North Texas.
Besides developments in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston, Taylor Morrison builds in major markets in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Florida as well as Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Its corporate lineage dates back more than a century, and for the last three years, consumers picked Taylor Morrison as “America’s Most Trusted Home Builder,” according to studies conducted by Lifestory Research.
