Initial Renderings Released for 66-Story Downtown LA Tower Next to Hotel Figueroa
Back in January we heard about big plans to turn a parking lot next to Hotel Figueroa in Downtown Los Angeles into a 66-story mixed-use tower. Now, we get a chance to see what that might look like.
Located at 925 S. Figueroa Street, this skyline-altering building would include 200 condo units, a 220-room hotel, 94,000 square feet of commercial space, and a 617-car garage. The rendering shows off a rectangular glass design that rises above a podium that fans out to include building amenities such as a swimming pool and resident gathering space.
Regalian is the project’s developer. CallisonRTKL is said to be designing the tower with help from MJS Landscape Architecture. Depending on the official height of the building, it could end up being one of the five-tallest towers in LA, though that could quickly change given the number of high-rises coming soon.
