KB Home announced the grand opening of two different housing communities in San Bernardino County last week.

First up is Summit Crest, a new-home community located at 5524 Bertini Way in the city of Fontana. The 77 two-story homes will be offered in four different floor plans ranging from 1,689 to 2,481 square feet. Homes will include three or four bedrooms and two-and-a-half or three bathrooms as well as  large great rooms, walk-in closets, and covered front porches. Prices here range from $413,990 to $462,990.

The community also includes various amenities, including a park with courts and fields, tot lot, junior Olympic-sized pool, children’s splash deck, dining terrace, and barbecue pits. The Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex is also within walking distance and there are plenty of golfing, hiking, and skiing possibilities nearby.

A twenty-minute drive away, you’ll find KB’s another new community, Springtime at Harvest. Located in the Harvest master planned neighborhood within the city of Upland, it is within walking distance of Claremont Colleges.

The community will include 125 single-family homes spread between four two-story home floor plans that range from 2,085 to 2,394 square feet. Between three and five bedrooms and two-and-a-half and three bathrooms, the homes will also include large walk-in closets, large master bath with dual sinks and separate tub/shower, and ENERGY STAR® certification. Prices will begin in the mid-$500,000s.

The Harvest community is based on the concept of promoting well-being and enriching the life of residents. As such, living here gives residents access to edible plantings in community gardens and orchards as well as health-focused courses and activities such as gardening and meal preparation. There are also premium amenities such as a recreation and fitness center, demonstration kitchen, pool, spa, barbecue area and outdoor gardens.
