KB Home held the grand opening of their newest San Diego County community June 3.

Prospect Fields, which is located in the east county city of Santee, is located just off the Interstate 8 and Highways 52 and 125, making it worth a look for commuters.

Homes in the neighborhood will feature three two-story floorplans that range from 1,904 to 2,221 square feet and include up to five bedrooms, three baths, and two-car garages. Residences will include design features such as great rooms, lofts, and downstairs bedrooms. Certain features, including home decor and exterior style, can be customized.

All homes in Prospect Fields will include an integrated solar power system as well as many energy- and water-saving features. Home prices start between $616,490 and $646,990, depending on the floorplan.

The community is situated close to Santee Trolley Square and Grossmont Center for entertainment and retail options. Meanwhile, nearby Lake Jennings, Lake Murray, Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve, and Mission Trails Regional Park provide hiking, fishing, and boating opportunities. Prospect Fields will also be served by both the Santee and Grossmont Union High School Districts.
