In its current state, the Los Angeles neighborhood of Koreatown is the densest in the entire city. With a population of around 120,000 packed into just 2.7 square miles, they cram around 43,000 people into each square mile in this central LA hotspot. The really crazy part is that it's also the neighborhood with the most development projects either under construction or proposed. According to one estimate, there are almost 9,000 new residential units potentially coming to Koreatown, meaning LA's most crowded 'hood is about to become an even tighter squeeze.

Neighborhoods.com took a look at the 40+ projects currently on the books, including retail centers and hotels, and picked out the ten biggest residential ones that could remake Koreatown.
