Miami Condo to Offer Aquatic Helicopter Experience
Developers of The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach have upped the ante on condo amenities, offering residents access to a navigable marine helistop, per Miami Curbed.
Scheduled to be completed in the coming months, it will be used to attract new buyers with tours, but also to enable residents to avoid traffic by reaching their condos by air and sea travel. Owners would arrive to the area via a private jet and be picked up by helicopter. After arriving on the helipad, a private yacht will pick them up and bring them by boat to the property.
Developed in partnership with iLand Miami and Miami Executive Helicopters, the helipad in Biscayne Bay will be the first of its kind in Miami. Residents will be able to schedule flights through a concierge desk for up to six people to anywhere in Florida, including the Keys and Bahamas.
The project consists of eight waterfront homes, each with private boat dockage, and seven garden villas. They residences will have one to five bedrooms, range in size from 2,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet, and are priced from $2 million to $40 million. Five penthouses will be available in the residence building with a unique option to combine two penthouses of them to create an eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom unit selling for $40 million. This deluxe unit will feature four pools, a game suite, wine room, library, and a Hammam spa.
With increasing competition in the Miami condo market, developers have been offering more creative amenities. For example, the Porsche Design Tower will have a car elevator, Paramount Miami Worldcenter will have a theme park of an amenity deck, and Estates at Acqualina will house an ice skating rink.
