From the mall-minds that brought us the Mall of America, another massive mall project plans to open in Miami in 2022—and it’s even bigger than the aforementioned Minnesota Mall.

The American Dream Miami promises 6 million square feet of shopping, dining, entertainment, and bonkers attractions that include a 16-story indoor ski slope and submarine rides through a manmade saltwater lake with an artificial reef.

Miami-Dade County commissioners approved a comprehensive master plan for the mall in January, but since then the project has hit a small snag after members of the South Florida Regional Planning Council complained about not having enough time to review plans. But council members just want to have their concerns registered; the mall faces a final vote before the County Commission this summer, and it’s predicted to get approved.

The mall is the largest development project planned for Miami-Dade county, and might be the biggest mall in the nation.
