San Francisco's Mission District furniture store Fitzgerald Furniture Company is set to be demolished and revamped. The historic furniture store on 19th and Bryant streets will be turned into a modern six-story building with 60 condos.

Per SocketSite, the plans to bring a 68-foot tall building to the site are pending approval until the end of October when the city is set to make a decision.

The brick facade of the furniture store will be incorporated into the new design, creating an “old-world meets new-world” vibe, according to Perry Architects.

In addition to the 60 new condos, 7,400 square feet of retail and restaurant space will be in the buildings, as well was a 45-car garage, 4,800-square-foot rooftop deck, and space for 84 bikes.
