Woodlawn on Chicago’s South Side is already poised for a boost when Obama’s presidential library moves into the neighborhood, and the real estate market is already heating up in anticipation. And now, another big housing project is on the way: A mixed-income transit-oriented development (TOC) was just granted a city construction permit, Curbed Chicago reports.

Located near the Cottage Grove Green Line station, Developer Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) and architecture firm Gensler’s project—called Woodlawn Station—will include  55 mixed-income apartments, 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 39 parking stalls, plus an additional 15 units on scattered sites around the site that will be included in the development.

POAH Chicago says they expect to complete the project some time in 2018.
