New Developments Continue at the Boardwalk at Towne Lake
As the first major mixed-use development in Cypress, the Boardwalk is now expanding its wellness facilities with a new free-standing medical building, Basu Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery’s Beleza Surgery Center, according to Biznow.
In addition to other health-focused facilities like Orangetheory Fitness, Texas Children's Pediatrics, and Pure Barre, the 150,000-square-foot property also features several shopping and dining options. According to Caldwell, the developer, the Boardwalk project is approximately 70 percent complete.
The Boardwalk is located within walking distance of the master-planned community Towne Lake. This growing 2,400-acre lakeside neighborhood is northwest of Houston, bordered by U.S. 290, West Road and Barker Cypress Road.
Future development plans for Towne Lake include new modern homebuilders, consisting of cottage homes, townhomes, and active adult homes. Cy-Fair Independent School District (CFISD) predicts 1,342 new single-family housing units and 375 new multi-family housing units in Towne Lake between 2017 annd 2021, according to Chron.
Towne Lake is also scheduled to house a 2,500-seat amphitheater with a traditional bandstand stage and pavilion.
