Time-Lapse Video Shows Progress at One Bennett Park, The 70-Story Residential Tower in Chicago
When completed in summer 2019, One Bennett Park in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood will be the tallest all-residential building—and one of the tallest buildings—in Chicago. The 800-foot tower will include 69 luxury condos, which will command between $1.85 million and $15 million, and 279 apartments plus a ground-level park. The building is designed by New York's Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Chicago's GREC Architects is overseeing the project.
The project broke ground in February 2016, and Curbed Chicago posted a video that tracks the progress of the tower between then and now. Set to dramatic movie music, the aerial video shows the building slowly inching up toward the Chicago skyline.
