Online Auction Underway on Deion Sanders' Former Prosper Mansion
If you ever watched Deion Sanders’ reality TV show on the OWN Network, you probably saw him riding a motorized scooter around his behemoth 29,000-square-foot mansion in the countryside outside Prosper. Though Sanders was still as athletic as the days he wore No. 21 on his Dallas Cowboys jersey, the scooter offered a quick commute from one end of the extravagant mansion to the other.
According to Candy’s Dirt, New York City-based Concierge Auctions, an elite online auction house, is presently taking online bids on this palatial pink mansion and nearly six-acre estate without reserve, and bidding is slated to end at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Interested buyers can preview the sprawling property and all it has to offer by attending an open house held daily from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 1400 Copper Point.
Though Sanders sold the estate in 2014, his penchant for bigger-than-life luxury is still everywhere in the mansion.
In the soaring two-story foyer hangs a magnificent one-of-a-kind chandelier that was custom crafted from three crystal chandeliers out of the landmark Statler Hilton hotel in Downtown Dallas, which were gifts from Mehrdad Moayedi who just renovated and reopened the hotel and developed the 22-acre Montclair neighborhood surrounding the mansion.
Besides 10 bedrooms, 10 full baths, and a gigantic 3,000-square-foot master closet, the mansion contains a commercial-grade gourmet kitchen, a gym, basketball court, bowling alley, sauna, barber shop, arcade, media room, guest house, indoor and outdoor lagoon-style pools, and a 12-acre lake.
