Plano Ranks No. 8 Safest City in America in New Report
After analyzing 182 cities nationwide, WalletHub ranked Plano the 8th Safest City in America.
According to the Dallas Business Journal, WalletHub based its rankings on a metric scoring system that analyzed home and community safety, financial safety, and natural disaster risk. And Plano scored high on home and community safety and financial safety.
In addition to Plano ranking as No. 8 on WalletHtub’s Safest Cities listing, the remainder of the top 10 safest cities include: Nashua, New Hampshire at No. 1; South Burlington, Virginia at No. 2; Warwick, Rhode Island at No. 3; Columbia, Maryland at No. 4; Gilbert, Arizona at No. 5; Fargo, North Dakota at No. 6; Lewiston, Maine at No. 7; Portland, Maine at No. 9; and Brownsville, Texas at No. 10.
This year, Plano also ranked high on a list of Best Places to Raise a Family.
