Proposed Chicago Condo and Hotel Tower Could Be River North's Tallest in Nearly a Decade
Crain’s Chicago reports a 60-story hotel and condo tower headed to River North is the tallest building to be proposed for the neighborhood since the recession.
Symmetry Property Development is planning a 725-foot tower for the Superior Street and Wabash Avenue. The development would include 216 hotel rooms, 120 timeshare units, 246 condos, and about 30,000 square feet of retail space.
The project was revealed in an email sent from downtown Ald. Brendan Reilly to his constituents. The project needs Reilly’s approval and that of City Council before moving forward.
This development is one of many proposed for the River North area.
