According to Urbanize LA, the new Riverdale community in Long Beach has completed construction on its 131 single-family homes, with sales beginning Sept. 9.

The gated community features homes between 1,925 and 2,242 square feet, along with a community pool and recreation center. A 3.3-acre park is also in the works nearby on Oregon Avenue. Riverdale sits south of West 48th Street on the eastern bank of the Los Angeles River. There, it’s close to many of Long Beach’s downtown attractions, including the Queen Mary, the Pike, Aquarium of the Pacific, and many of the bars and restaurants nearby.

Homes will come with three floorplans. The smallest, Plan 1C, features three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a loft and a large two-car garage within 1,925 square feet. Plan 2AR has the same bed/bath count, but with extra loft space for an optional fourth bedroom in its 2,039 square feet. Plan 3B has four bedrooms (with an option for a fifth) and three full baths, with a master suite. 

Pricing in Riverdale starts in the low $600,000 range.

This is the latest in a string of LA-area communities from Brandywine Homes. Its Castella community in Norwalk is already selling units. Plus additional communities are due to open in Yorba Linda, Buena Park, San Dimas, Whittier, and La Puente.
