RiverPark's Single-Family Homes Rising Along Los Angeles River
The 95-unit plan RiverPark development along the Los Angeles River is beginning its final phase. RiverPark’s first 41 units in in the Cypress Park neighborhood already sold out, and this phase will add another 54 single-family residences to that group.
Tucked between the LA River and North San Fernando Road, RiverPark will feature 70,000 square feet of walkways, seating and landscaped areas, along with a promenade park within the community. It’s also located directly south of Taylor Yard State Park, which includes hiking, biking, and recreational spaces.
Each RiverPark home will include at least three bedrooms and a two-car garage — with some four-bedroom floor plans available as well. The homes will be a maximum of 2,000 square feet, with pricing set to begin in the high $600,000 range.
RiverPark is one of many projects currently planned along the LA River as its restoration continues. An additional 53 live/work units may be added in Elysian Valley along the riverbank and a $19 million bridge is also set to be added nearby. Architecture firms have also put forth renderings for how the entire waterfront would be reimagined with public space and amenities. Walking paths have already been installed to improve other portions along the river.
