While Chicagoans are still waiting for crews to finish the Theater on the Lake bar and restaurant off of Fullerton, Shore Club Chicago announced it is open for business. Located just north of the North Avenue Beach House, Shore Club is offering up champagne, cocktails, and private cabanas along the Lakefront Trail.

According to the website, Shore Club Chicago creates “an extension of the community in Lincoln Park and the Gold Coast.” The swanky patio and “country club-style” spot is offering weekend brunch and gourmet eats for lunch and dinner during the week. The space will also host private events.

The Shore Club is a three-part space. It features a 4,500-square-foot patio, a 3,500-square-foot “oasis” with cabanas and sunbeds, and a 4,800-square-foot enclosed and temperature-controlled restaurant.

The club opens up in time for this weekend's Air & Water Show, where the Blue Angels take over the skies above the North Avenue Beach. The restaurant is offering VIP packages for patrons to have front-row seating for the event — but it’ll cost a pretty penny.
