The latest residential piece of CityLine, Richardson, TX’s $1.5 billion master-planned project, has gotten underway.

The Residences at CityLine, a 32 single-home community, has begun construction after more than a year of planning by developer Centre Living Homes. The only single-family residences that will be included in CityLine, the homes will be available in two floor plans. The first is a 2,676 square-foot three bedroom starting at $549,900 while the latter is a 3,227 square-foot four-bedroom starting at $655,000. All homes will feature large open-planned spaces with private side courtyards.

The 186-acre CityLine development includes much more beyond these homes. Big companies such as State Farm Insurance and Raytheon have already snatched up large office complexes. Multiple consumer hubs are anchored by retailers big and small such as Whole Foods, Starbucks, Wells Fargo, and Jimmy John’s. Eventually, 30,000 people are expected to work within CityLine.

The development also includes a 150-room Aloft Hotel and plans for 1,900 apartment and townhome units and all of the residential amenities that come with them. Multiple parks, plazas, and trails dot the project as well.
