A new gated community from home builder Toll Brothers is coming to the master-planned community of Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas. The Enclave at Ridgefield Heights, the final gated section of the master-planned community, will offer homes in several styles starting from the low $400,000s.

Homes can be built in several designs, including a brick tudor style and a Mediterranean design with a stucco facade. Amenities for residents include a beach club, water park, nature trails, lakes, and parks.

Toll Brothers is behind other single-family home developments, including Ironwood Estates in Cinco Ranch and the Reserve in Katy. Cinco Ranch, a 25-year-old community, is popular because of its proximity to Houston's Energy Corridor and the Katy Independent School District.

A model home for the Enclave is open in Ironwood Estates, and pre-sales for the development should begin soon.

In general, master-planned communities like Cinco Ranch are driving Houston's real estate market. A report from Houston Public Media says these communities have driven retail development, specifically that of "grocery-anchored shopping," even during a time of an oil downturn, slow job growth, and vacancies in office spaces.
