The Yorba Linda Planning Commission has given the go-ahead on a Melia Homes condominium project set for the corner of Bastanchury Road and Plumosa Drive.

The 12.5-acre Loma Vista project is expected to be finished next year and bring 192 new residences to Orange County’s Yorba Linda.

Plans call homes in one of three architectural styles (Spanish, craftsman, cottage) that range from two- to three-story buildings including two- to four-bedrooms. Prices are expected to be in the $600,000s though six units will be offered as affordable housing.

The community will include a community pool and recreational facilities.

This will be Melia Homes’ second development in the region. They also created the 40-home Anderson Grove nearby on Lakeview Avenue.
