You're Going to Want to Use the Bathrooms Atop the Wilshire Grand
It turns out that the Wilshire Grand, the unintentionally tall skyscraper that recently held its grand opening in Downtown Los Angeles, has something to boast about other than its glorious height.
The Bathrooms.
Aside from spectacular views, beautiful artwork, illuminating LED lights, and a rooftop bar, one of the buildings more popular “attractions” is the men’s restroom in the sky lobby. Not only is this bathroom located on the 70th floor, the urinals are also made of angled glass overlooking the Los Angeles skyline. After male patrons finish tinkling, the bathroom features a waterfall-style flushing system that washes out the waste.
On the other hand, female patrons can also enjoy their own fancy bathroom. Just one floor above on the 71st floor, there’s a Marie Antoinette-themed restroom with gold accents replicating the detailed hallways of Versailles on the doors. There also are elegant lounge chairs for those who want to relax.
Just know that if you tell someone you visited the Wilshire Grand, this is the first thing they’re going to think about.
