Around Broadmoor Broadway
Most of the neighborhood is residential, so you'll see smaller homes, most of which have similarly sized lots. The edges of the community offer compelling views. In the southwest corner, at the corner of Tucson and Winsett Street is the Rincon Vista Sports Complex, so sporting activities do abound in this area.
As a residential neighborhood, most dinner options in Tucson are located elsewhere, but that doesn't mean you're forced to venture outward. Broadway Boulevard has some dinner options, ranging from franchise to locally owned restaurants. Pollo Feliz has delicious chicken and you can pick up Korean at Kimchi Time. Also consider stopping by Sushi Garden, which is a local favorite. Almost all of the dining options are right off of Broadway Boulevard on the north end of the neighborhood.
The farther away from Broadway Boulevard you are, the less traffic and noise you'll experience. Bisecting the lower third of the neighborhood is Arroyo Chico, a waterworks project. While the project is blocked off with large bushes and greenery, it does offer a quieter lifestyle as homes are only on one side of the road. The Broadmoor Broadway neighborhood is currently seeking out historical. This not only brings in a bit more recognition from the city, but it also says a lot about the the age of the homes. You'll find smaller, one-story homes here and while there are some condominiums available, you won't find large complexes.
The perfect Sunday begins with brunch along Broadway Boulevard before taking a stroll along scenic Arroyo Chico. Residents can also cross over the southeastern corner of the neighborhood to visit Reid Park Zoo or take up a tennis match at Rincon Vista Sports Complex.
While there is a limited bar selection, there are still some great options. Side Car, in the northeastern corner of the community, is one of the best martini and specialty drink bars in the city. Laff's Comedy Caffee is here as well, where you can check out local acts.
