Terrible. Everyone at this school is rude. Bullying is a big problem that is left unresolved.

I have had 4 children attend Irvine High and all are high achieving, conscientious students. There are plenty of AP classes to challenge the overachiever, and colleges look favorably on applicants from Irvine High. Students who take school seriously are well prepared for college. We have never experienced problems with bullying and drugs. I have had good rapport with the staff and teachers. The block schedule allows the students to take more classes in a shorter amount of time so that they can participate in extra-curricular activities.

MOVING IS DIFFICULT ENOUGH, I HAD HIGH THOUGHTS FOR IRVINE HIGH SCHOOL UNTIL I GOT HERE THE REGISTRATION WAS A NIGHTMARE THE HELPING STAFF ARE SO BITTER AND RUDE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL, THE COUNSELOR DOES NOT INFORM YOU PROPERLY OF SCHOOL PROCEDURES, IS NOT AWARE OF MANY RESOURCES OR JUST DOSEN"T CARE. THE CONVERSATIONS ARE VERY COLD, IN A HURRY TO HANG UP.MOST STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE WITH STUDENTS TREAT THEM WITH ALMOST HATE. WHAT EVER HIGH RATE THEY HAVE IS NOT THE STAFF IS THE STUDENTS AND PARENTS. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH STAFF MANNERS.
