San Jacinto is located in the San Jacinto Unified School District. The district is comprised of 17 public schools that serve grades preschool through 12th. When comparing the San Jacinto Unified School District to the rest of California, well over half of the district’s schools possess below-average ratings. San Jacinto is also home to a St. Hyacinth Academy, a private Catholic school, as well as the charter school of San Jacinto Valley Academy. Mt. San Jacinto College is also available for those seeking higher education opportunities.
Attractions
Mount San Jacinto State Park offers ample outdoor recreational space such as camping grounds, miles of hiking and biking trails, and scenic mountain vistas. A historical landmark in San Jacinto, the Estudillo Mansion was constructed in the 19th century by the prominent Estudillo family who controlled over 110,000 acres in the San Jacinto area. Visitors can take a tour of the mansion and learn more about the city’s rich history. The Soboba Casino Resort is another major attraction, offering 474,000 square feet of luxury amenities, fun events, ample table games, slot machines, and a championship golf course.
