Canyon Springs

The Canyon Springs Recreation Center creates a welcoming place for residents to socialize and stay active. It features an outdoor swimming pool and basketball and tennis courts. A pavilion, as well as parks and playgrounds, can be found throughout Canyon Springs, providing homeowners with ample outdoor space for recreation. The Canyon Springs Golf Club is a world-class golfing experience in the community. Designed by golf course architect Thomas Walker, the 18-hole championship golf course blends with the gently rolling hills and natural beauty of San Antonio’s Texas Hill Country. The award-winning club features a full-service golf shop, practice facilities, an on-site restaurant, meeting rooms, and banquet facilities. In addition, the club also attracts leagues and golfers from across the nation to participate in various tournaments and golf camps. Canyon Springs is served by both the North East Independent School District and Comal Independent School District. Some of the school’s academic programs include pre-AP courses that begin as early as middle school, preparing students for higher learning. Residents can send their children to highly-rated schools in the area such as Specht Elementary, Reagan High School, Tuscany Heights Elementary, and Barbara Bush Middle School.
