Capitol View is surrounded by Perkerson Park, Adair Park, and Emma Millican Park. The Oakland City Transit Station sits on the western border of Capitol View along Lee Street, providing residents access to the MARTA gold and red lines and connecting the neighborhood to downtown Atlanta. Bus stations are on most major streets in the neighborhood, connecting to the Oakland City Transit Station, West End Transit Station, and Lakewood-Fort McPherson Transit Station. The nearby Atlanta Beltline trail provides biking and walking access into the city center and neighboring areas, and the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is only eight miles south.
