Many of the bars also offer great food and drink specials for anyone on a budget.
Sundays in East Austin, like Fridays, can be just about anything you want them to be. If you're a foodie, check out the brunch specials in the area. Shopping choices are enormous, with thrift and vintage stores at prices that can't be beat as well as locally owned boutiques. Music and art shows are a weekly fixture, but this area also hosts special events like the East Side Art Crawl, Punk Rock Market, free and barter events, and film specials at locally owned theaters. Simply people watching while sipping a coffee, bubble tea, or organic beverage from one of the area's many shops or stands is an activity anyone can enjoy.
