Cantina Los Caballitos has some of the best Mexican fare around, whether you’re looking for tacos and margaritas or slow-cooked goat. Elsewhere in the neighborhood, diners enjoy Spanish tapas, French cuisine, sushi, Malaysian skewers, and more.

You’ll be met with a community full of supportive residents that take pride in the area’s achievements. Locals want to see East Passyunk thrive. The neighborhood’s architecture is largely made up of classic, red-brick rows and low-rise buildings, with added flourishes decorating storefronts to attract the eyes of passersby. The area doesn’t have too much greenspace beyond a few sports fields and a dog park, but its local businesses are hard to beat.

Start the evening early with a trip to the used record store off East Passyunk Avenue and Tasker Street. They’ll meet your vinyl and other retro needs.
