The perfect neighborhood to enjoy all that Encanto Village (Uptown District, Midtown District and all Encanto Neighborhoods) has to offer
My husband and I moved to Encanto Estates in 2017. I love the mid-century ranches, well-kept yards, big trees, and the fact that people are out and about walking/mingling on a daily basis. We moved from Downtown Phoenix and feel that this is the perfect neighborhood to enjoy all that Encanto Village (Uptown District, Midtown District and all Encanto Neighborhoods) has to offer. Since moving here, we rarely get in the car. You can bike to downtown in 15 minutes via the cute and funky Grand Avenue, you can bike to Central Park Square Athletic Club (if you prefer small gyms) in 10 minutes via Encanto and Historic Willo or ride down 15th to LA Fitness (if you prefer big gyms) in 15 minutes. There is a Safeway, Natural Grocers, and Medical Center 2 miles away. Grand, Midtown and Uptown have tons of hip restaurants, bars, and cafe's that are easy to ride to. There are a few family owned and operated restaurants and a bar 1 city block away, in-between the 9-Hole and 18-Hole Golf Course and easily walkable. We walk to Downtown Phoenix through Encanto and FQ Story on Saturdays to the Phoenix Public Market - Farmers Market and Margaret Hance Dog Park. It has been great living a block from the 200 acre Encanto Park - we have joined a few sports leagues, we take the dog on shaded and grassy runs, play $6 golf games, swim laps for $1 at the outdoor pool, play tennis, and enjoy the spectacular views of Piestewa Peak, Midtown, and the Downtown Phoenix skyline. This neighborhood is modest and attractive - a bit of a gem in our opinion .
