Vernon Elementary is a wonderful school with staff and faculty that really care about the children. My son has developmental delays and his teacher, paras, and speech therapist have helped him make great improvements. The faculty work to keep children safe and Mr. Griffin knows every child by name... all 600 of them. Originally I was upset that we were zoned for a school that’s so far from our home but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. I could easily take my child 5 minutes up the road to Bozeman but I will gladly drive the 64 miles a day round trip so that mySon can attend this wonderful school with an amazing teacher and staff that truly care about my child.

After the last parent teacher conference .. Our third this year. We finally understand what the duties of the first grade teachers at Vernon Our sons' teacher said she is not responsible for any child's class work .. She is not responsible for any child's home work Its not her problem if the child doesn't pass, the education of the student solely falls on the student and no one else. IT'S NOT MY JOB! To help these 6-7 year old students. They should be able to do everything for themselves by now like the 5th graders do! This is what our sons teacher told us , And the administration completely agrees with her! Our children are doomed with such lazy, irresponsible people in there presence every day.
