In addition, there is the Dekalb Peachtree Airport located in Chamblee for an alternative to the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for long distance transportation needs.

Chamblee is part of the Dekalb County School District, which includes six elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, and two private schools. It is the third largest school system in the state with a focus on inspiring higher education.
Attractions
With its diverse community comes a wide range of international food options, including the popular Chinatown Mall and an array of different Asian cuisine along the ethnic dining destination, Buford Highway. Chamblee is a collector’s town with a plethora of antique stores and shopping options. There are plenty of festivals and events throughout the year, like the highly anticipated Taste of Chamblee on Buford Highway. There are seven neighborhood parks in Chamblee, the largest of which is Keswick Park. It offers several different fields for various sports as well as playgrounds and picnic areas.
