I personally went to a Parkview Graduated in 1980. Gwinnett was great then. My older kids went to Brookwood great teachers great school. Schools were good paid attention worked with the parents. Now younger child goes to Dacula Hs HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE SINCE WEEK 2. No one cares or even returns your calls. I leave messages and no call back unless it is a message that has nothing to do with the call at hand. But if they want to talk to you man they bug the crap out of you to get what they want. Forget making your child accountable yet push to make your child accountable. HORRIBLE SCHOOL WITH LOW SCORES ALL AROUND. No wonder the graduating rate is low. Shame on Gwinnett County Schools. NOt like it use to be when schools really mattered.

Excelent staff! Great environment. Dual enrollment program has room to improve process and provide transportation options.

I haven’t seen a school this bad since Buford High with lack of respect by students and parents. Sporting events involving this school is awful. The kids are rude to other teams and refs, coaches. The parents say things smart comments to other teams parents almost trying to start a fight. Must be a rough area because the kids are hardened and the parents are just plain obnoxious. Avoid this area.

Hopefully, the administration can work against some of the negative streams flowing here. This school has a drug and violence problem. Fights and bullying are common. Racism is a stronghold at the school. I believe the administration team are doing the best that they can. I see police officers on site, often. On a positive note, they have a great sports program and they foster that strength. However, it has been our experience that you have to strongly advocate for your child, if they have any learning issues. There has been a new technology/digital program for the classrooms that the school is implementing that is amazing and leading other schools. The school's orchestra department is truly amazing, as well. If not for the violence, we would stay here. Hope it gets better.
