All in all I do not like or dislike the school, of course I attend the school but if I had a choose of changing schools I would most definitely do so. The students themselves are the main thing I really dislike, the like of variety concerns me. No matter what race they are, majority of them are the same person. The wannabe bad boy who says he is in a gang, but is really a foot soldier. These type of students are numerous, at least one student in every class is this type of person.

Front office and counselors show no interest or excitement for their jobs.....Atmosphere is not great

Don't listen to the bad reviews. Forest Park High is an overall great school. The students are mature and the teachers are professional. It is also the most diverse school on the south side.

Forest Park High School has to be one of the worst schools in the state of Georgia. The administration and staff could care less about the children and their success. Alhough the school is challenged with having kid from low socio-economic backgrounds, little is being done to ensure these kids stay on the right track. Students are suspended for 10 days at a time just to get rid of the problems. If you want your child to get a good education it definitely won't happen at Forest Park High. In fact I wouldn't attend any school in Clayton County except Jonesboro High.
