But the most popular amenity in the community is The Gentle Creek Country Club, which features an 18-hole golf course that spans 235 acres of manicured fairways and wooded countryside. The parkland-style course was designed by PGA professional D. A. Weibring uses the area’s natural landscape of rolling terrain to create a unique golfing experience. Water hazards and fluctuating elevations make the golf course challenging yet fun for players of all skill levels, The country club not only offers a regulation course but also amenities such as a practice facility, full-service pro shop, and restaurant. Gentle Creek Estates is served by the Prosper Independent School District (ISD). While there are no schools inside the community’s borders, a few Prosper ISD schools are close by such as Cynthia A. Cockrell Elementary School, Reynolds Middle School, and Prosper High School. The ISD is known to have high graduation rates and above-average test scores that they attribute to a challenging academic environment, which prepares students for higher education opportunities.
