Hampton Park

Hampton Park is a subdivision in the village of Romeoville, located between the O’Hara Woods Preserve and Resurrection Cemetery. Like greater Romeoville, this neighborhood is known for its community-oriented feel and friendly environment, and the recreation department and park district host a variety of community-wide events around this neighborhood throughout the year. Hampton Park residents have convenient access to a handful of schools, including Irene H. King Elementary School, Robert C. Hill Elementary School, and John J. Lukancic Middle School, as well as the neighboring O’Hara Woods Preserve, which provides hiking trails, wildlife viewing and open space. While many residents here prefer to drive, the Pace Bus Service operates routes around the community, and the Romeoville Metra Station is located across the Des Plaines River along New Avenue.
