Yes the homes were built by a national tract home builder with fluctuating oversight and quality of finish work but overall compared to other tract home builders the quality is above mid range. The neighborhood is in an ideal location. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to downtown Wilmington and is situated across the street from the river front park. Close to the elementary school and easy access to highways and all beaches without having the corrosive effects that ocean front living has on a house. The aftermarket upgrades most of the homeowners have added to the base options given including landscaping and remodeling have helped values grow more than just the normal market increase. A few ponds in the neighborhood are stocked for kids to fish and amenities include a pool and clubhouse as well as the riverfront gazebo and day slips along side a kayak launch. HOA dues are still lower than many area subs and everyone seems to want to keep their properties nice. The neighborhood has regular events like a fishing derby for kids, meet and greet for new neighbors at the pool and fun family events like concerts and food truck nights. Overall this is a very nice place to live!
