Hunters Crossing’s Bastrop location allows it easy access to and clear views of the scenic Texas Hill Country, and residents who enjoy hiking and biking can take advantage of numerous picturesque routes through Bastrop and into the Hill Country beyond. If kayaking and river walks are more your style, the Colorado River courses through Bastrop, allowing for plenty of water-related activities. Hunters Crossing families will send their kids to schools within the Bastrop Independent School District, a highly-rated school system with each of its 15 campuses earning “Met Standards” marks from the state of Texas. Bastrop High School also features an Early College Program, allowing students to earn college credits prior to graduation.
