Residential with great dining and many bars
Jefferson Park is a residential hub located on the Northwest Side of Chicago. Homes range in styles but is mostly filled with classic and updated bungalows. Jefferson Park is home of Chicago landmarks such as the Copernicus Center that houses concerts, film festivals, community clubs and exercise classes such as Jazzercise, the ever popular Taste of Polonia, and was even a venue that President Obama chose to speak at. The Ed Paschke art center is a new addition to the neighborhood and is currently featuring an exhibit by grammy winning rapper and Chicago native Lupe Fiasco. The Gift theater is a renowned theater for its plays and improv that Chicago residents come from all over to visit. Jefferson Park is rich with great dining and a relaxed nightlife. Gale Street Inn is one of the more popular spots and, famous for its ribs, is a great atmosphere for a special occasions or dates. Jefferson Park is home to many Polish residents but also has a diverse selection of Thai, Mexican, Chinese, and pub restaurants. It is a diverse and residential community that is conveniently located near several cta stops and has its own Blueline stop for convenient traveling to all parts of Chicago.
