Liberty Square At Wesmont Station

Liberty Square at Wesmont Station is one of Wood Ridge’s newest townhome communities. It’s part of the Wesmont Station transit village and features a new on-site train station, putting Manhattan at an easy 30-minute commute for residents. Though the train station makes NYC commuting easy, residents rely on their cars for local trips and errands as other public transportation options are limited. Grocery stores and some retail services are right outside the community’s boundaries on Passaic Avenue. Big box stores and dozens of restaurants are a couple of minutes away by car along Highway 17. Home prices within the community range higher than other homes in the immediate area largely because of Liberty Square’s transit convenience and newer construction with smart home technologies. There are many schools in the immediate area. Catherine Doyle Elementary, Wallington, Pulaski, Euclid Elementary Wood-Ridge Middle, and Wood-Ridge High School are all within a one mile radius of Liberty Square at Wesmont Station. Though residents of Liberty Square at Wesmont Station have New York City and all it has to offer so close by, there are some local attractions they can easily reach as well. The Meadowlands Sports Complex is less than 20 minutes away by car and includes MetLife Stadium (home to the New York Giants and Jets football teams) and Meadowlands Racetrack (horse-racing). Downtown Rutherford is about a 10-minute drive from Liberty Square and is home to trendy boutiques, eateries and the Williams Center, which hosts movies, performances and events throughout the year.
